Working on an exciting new project where my brother Daniel and I along with a local business partner are producing a video to be released in March from Reno, NV. We are keeping it under wraps until its release but will be sure to make the announcement here. Primary Production begins this coming up Wednesday.
State Farm Leaving :(
Really bummed about the news of State Farm pulling Home Owners Insurance from Florida. They are a great company and have always provided great service and coverage. Not only do I have a bunch of friends working for them but my mom works for a great agent in Leesburg. I think Bob Gernert from the Winter Haven Chamber covered it best.

COLD !!
Posted by Mike in Recent Shoots on January 29, 2009
Had a shoot in Atlanta for a client recently where we had to take some shots in a storage freezer. Felt some cold like this Florida boy has never felt. -12 degrees F. Needless to say, Seola only and I were moving pretty quick. Honestly I could only take about 3 minutes of it and had to take a break.
Capturing Daily Events
I love the ability to photograph life events some exciting some not so exciting. Loosing your first tooth… Falling out of bed in the middle of the night.

Ice on Wind Shield? In Florida ?
Posted by Mike in Just Blogging on January 22, 2009
Woke up to ice on my windshield this morning. I have had ice on my windshield before, and yes even in Florida, but not the the extent I had to scrape it off with a credit card.
Could you imagine?

The best job in the world they say! Six months of only working 12 hours each month earning a whopping 100,000 dollars. It sounds too good to be true but yet its valid. Sitting on the beach, snorkeling, swimming in the surf, fishing, boating and much more. I heard about this job through Polk counties one and only Ledger. Advertised as the best job in the world. If you check out the website (which will be listed below) one can see the competition, read about the job and then eventually apply for it. This is a photographers dream, only to leave from the experience with a portfolio like no other. Could be fun, just to apply, what do you have to loose? Besides “The Best” paying 6 months one could ask for!
